I've had alot of trouble trying to get ReShade to function in Garry's Mod. I've searched, asked ChatGPT, the whole thing. The newest version (6.4.1) just doesn't work at all and even though i've downgraded to like version 5 it STILL wouldn't work. The GUI either wouldn't show up or the effects would compile forever. I don't know if anybody has had the same issue, but it seems to be connected to phasing out hl2.exe (GMod's previous program name).
And yes, I have tried to rename gmod.exe into hl2.exe, but then Steam can't recognise it and goes absolutely insane.
Any help?
