I am having
two separate issues with Reshade 6.3 on Sims 3.
Issue 1:
Whilst in game, I cannot click on the 'Settings' tab. It causes Sims 3 to close right to the desktop with no crash message or warning. For reference, during installation, I downloaded Reshade on TS3W.exe and selected Directx 9.
Issue 2:
The depth buffer function turns off after a few minutes in the game. While Sims 3 does have internet connectivity, there is no reason to enable the depth buffer turn off as this is a single player game. The scope of the 'internet connectivity' is similar to that of Sims 4, which is to say little to none, which is why I believe not flagging it in the code as being OK to keep Depth Buffer on is a mistake.
Note: I was using
this
modded Reshade to disable the depth buffer function toggle, however, after a recent Nvidia graphics card update, it caused this modded Reshade to crash Sims 3 as soon as it opened, hence why I swapped over to 6.3, which is when I realized that the 'Settings' tab no longer works.
Any help would be appreicated.
