Reshade 6.0.1 not working on Sims 4

I'm having issues with the update to reshade. I was able to uninstall reshade but now I can't reinstall it. I go through the process of reinstalling or even updating and I receive the successful notification, but when I launch sims it reshade is not loading. I have a 64-bit and have direct x. I'm unsure as to why 6.0.1 isn't working. I tried to reinstall and older version and now 5.9.2 ( what I had before) also is not working. Please help.

Hey! Did you ever get it working? Bc I'm having the same problem I tried both reshade and gshade but the installing bar ain't loading
