X-Plane devs don't recommend using Reshade with their software, but I do anyway. It has been in beta since release and until this last beta, Reshade crashed the sim. Now with version 5.8.0 I can again use Reshade but there is one problem, not a big one but maybe it has to do with Reshade, maybe it is just a Vulkan issue.
The sim allows the user to open instruments in a window, and change the window mode to pop it out, where it can then be moved to a different screen. This works fine until you close the popout window. Sim locks up and crashes to desktop every time. There is a log showing Vulkan errors every time, like below. I don't know what to do about it except don't pop out windows, and if you do, don't close it until your finished with the flight.
