I believe I've done my due diligence before posting, but please forgive me if I am breaking any norms.
I am running Reshade.me with Skyrim special edition. It works great with a notable exception: It occasionally causes the game to freeze for several seconds.
I have done some troubleshooting already
- Performance mode doesn't help
- Unloading shaders doesn't help
- No messages are logged in the overlay log menu
- The freeze uniquely occurs when ReShade is active
- The freeze uniquely occurs when I give input to the game
- ReShade menu can be opened during the intro video, but not after
- Disabling the intro video does not change the effect
- Disabling the launcher does not change the effect
Any ideas? Sorry if this is a known issue / solved problem and I'm posting a double, but I have checked your forums to the best of my ability and not found this issue mentioned.
