Star trek online crashing

Star trek online updated their lighting in the game few months ago was hoping that either reshade its self would fix this or the game would push a patch out that would fix the crashing.If the lighting 2.0 is shut off reshade runs fine im wondering if someone could look into what would cause this and if there could be a fix for it.Idk if this helps but im running the game in dx11 mode with 2.0 on it crashs 2.0 lighting off on any mode reshade works.

Of course, as soon as I made the last edit, it would begin crashing the game again. I tried uninstalling ReShade, even deleting the folders/files manually (why doesn't uninstall do this?), and still no go.

Apologies. Since the game had not appeared in the list, and I selected it manually, I mistakenly picked StarTrekOnline.exe in the root as the executable. It is not, and the executable is actually three more folder levels deep.

ReShade will not work at all for me in STO. The launcher will close about 3-4 seconds after it opens. The game does not appear in the list of games. I have to select it manually. I have tried with Lighting 2.0 off or on, and it still just crashes the launcher. I'm thinking a Cryptic anti-cheat system is preventing it. It used to work years ago.

It's the anti-cheat. Injecting any DLL immediately crashes the game.
