AO issues in FFXIV with ultrawide monitor

AO issues in FFXIV with ultrawide monitor was created by Aiareck
Hi all,
Started playing FFXIV again after a long break and also having purchased a 5120x1440 monitor. I reinstalled Reshade to get some my presets back for GPosing and such, except I'm encountering a weird issue, specifically when using any kind of technique that uses AO and when in borderless windowed mode (which is pretty much a requirement with how often I'm tabbing in and out of the game for various reasons).
Its a bit hard to see in a still image, but if you look at this screenshot you can see the AO for the pillar in front of my character off to the left of it - it looks like smudges in the clouds.
If I revert the window to a 16:9 aspect ratio, the issue goes away. If I go into fullscreen mode, the issue goes away. I've tried hunting for solutions and have come up empty handed. Anyone know of a fix for this?
