Since some old games have a forced main menu 4:3 resolution and then change resolution (to 1080p for example) once the game is launched, then I think it would be cool if there were a setting which toggles the visual effects off at the menu resolution, and then toggles them on at the in-game resolution. Better yet, it would be cool to have two profiles set for such games, and have the game load each profile automatically as the game manages the resolution changes by itself.
What do you think?
