Greetings to everyone, I am interested in different sharpness shaders, and here I came across one that added the sharpness of the image while darkening the corners of the picture, thereby creating, as the author put it, "realism". The name of the shader was Glamayre_Fast_Effects.  At least in Witcher 3, I found glamayre better than CAS. Not a single artifact is visible to the eye.(I will explain, usually artifacts are visible when areas of the "picture" turn white or lighten, it is noticeable to the eye)

P.S Moreover, I came across a game called Shadow of tomb raider. A function from amd CAS was applied there. And in my opinion, this version was with darkening of the corners. Because it looked very beautiful.

I would like to know if anyone can change the CAS code from amd so that it turns out not to lighten the edges and darken them? I think it will be a great result.

Check out my  Contrast Limited Sharpening shader  at my repo. It also reduces "halo" artifacts like CAS but with different implementation.
