Disabling ReShade to avoid a VAC ban

Is the process or disabling ReShade for CS:GO to avoid a VAC ban as simple as renaming the d3d9.dll file to something like d3d9.dll.old so it doesn't inject into the game?

Valve, in terms of banning for the use of Reshade, is the least of your worries. Better safe than sorry, I suppose!
