I tested with version 6.2.0 and 6.3.1 and same result,
- I'm using w11 24H2 build 26100.
- Previously I was using w11 23H2/22H2 KB5041587 and before, in those the game worked fine with reshade.
- Tried changing dxgi to d3d12 and same result (crash at startup)
Btw i deleted reshade and the game went back to work/start correctly.

This appears in event viewer:

Faulting application name: ForzaHorizon4.exe, version: 1.476.400.0, time stamp: 0x00000000

I also tested with an older version of the game and same result:

Faulting application name: ForzaHorizon4.exe, version: 1.476.99.0, time stamp: 0x00000000
Faulting module name: WINHTTP.dll, version: 10.0.26100.1591, time stamp: 0xfcfec1f9

So I guess It has something to do with that WINHTTP.dll file?

Update: so yeah, that file was the problem, so a temporary solution is downloading an older winhttp.dll file (I used www.dll-files.com/winhttp.dll.html and grabbed version 10.0.18362.778 ) and since I can't replace the one in system32 i pasted it inside the main folder of the game, and it went back to work perfectly.
