ReShade doesn't start

Just tried setting it up for Dead by Daylight. Using shift+f2 does nothing, I see no indication of it having been set up when I load up the game, either, if there's supposed to be something that shows. So, after the installer, I have no indication of it being on my system at all.

Tried disabling my geforce overlay, steam overlay, etc. and still nothing whatsoever.

Having the exact same problem. I haven't been playing for a while so today I reinstalled Reshader with the latest version and now it suddenly doesn't work. Shift+F2 does nothing.
